The Client
InvisiBra, a playful, stick-on bra and lingerie brand known for its bold colours and sense of humour.

The Brief
It’s a nice trip down memory lane, finding case studies for these posts, and these poppy bra pictures reminded me how fun it was to work on something completely different to what I usually do.
The client first hired me for another project for a different brand (multiway dresses), but after that first shoot, they brought me on for an ongoing contract to shape the visual identity for InvisiBra. They wanted vibrant, eye-catching, and above all, fun content. Imagery that could carry the brand’s cheeky tone and stand out in the sea of beige underthings.

The Approach
This was one of the first times I got to go full tilt with humour in product styling. I asked myself: What weird and wonderful things could I stick a bra on? (Turns out, a lot.) Some shots were more traditional, but the standout moments came from the colourful, slightly absurd images that played with shape, texture, and visual puns.

The Inspiration
The client gave me full creative freedom, aside from a few notes about product categories (bridal = soft, floral, etc). That kind of trust was exhilarating, and also a little intimidating. I leaned on my instinct for prop styling and started building mini concepts that made me laugh and looked good. Florals and fruit became my go-to tools, this was the beginning of my love story styling with florals.

The Challenge
Total freedom sounds dreamy, and it is, but it also adds pressure. Not every idea lands. These days, I make time to build stronger concepts before I ever pull out the props. I’ve developed a lot more robust pre-production process, resulting in a better balance between creative freedom and a strong brief.

The Results
The images helped shape the tone of the brand, and in hindsight, shaped a lot of my own visual language too. Looking back, it’s interesting to see which images have endured the test of time, and it makes me happy that some of my the images are still in use by the brand to this day.
What I Learned
This project helped me sharpen my sense of what works. Compositionally, comedically, and emotionally. The images I still love years later are the ones that feel playful, slightly odd, and unmistakably me. I now opt for quality over quantity and making space for time & joy in the process.
